Canal Leading to Adyar river clogged, polluted by sewage

Clogged and polluted canal that will lead to flood if it rain again.

Lakshmipuram, near Essar fuel station on Thiruneermalai-Nagelkeni main road, a storm water canal crosses across the road. But where as this is more like a sewage drainage canal and does not looks like a storm water drain canal. 

Corporation fail to keep this canal clean, but this is not completely Corporation's fault. Every common resident of Lakshmipuram, Salaman Nagar, CLC road, and area around that are responsible for this mess. Garbage and plastic waste from every single residents is being dispose into this canal and thus causing this mess.

Please at-least from now onward reduce the usage of plastic and if you have a plastic waste kindly do recycle.
